Getting the 2.0 update for Animal Crossing is pretty straightforward! Make sure your Nintendo Switch has a stable internet connection. Then, with your console connected to the internet, start up Animal Crossing. The game should prompt you automatically to download the latest update if it's not already up to date. If that doesn't happen, you can also manually trigger an update by pressing the '+' button on your Joy-Con or Pro Controller while highlighting the game on the Home Menu, then selecting 'Software Update' followed by 'Via the Internet'. Easy peasy!

Honestly, if you haven't gotten the update yet, you're missing out. I did nothing special, just turned on my Switch, and boom, there it was. It's like Christmas morning but with Animal Crossing. Make sure you're connected to the net, and let the magic happen!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
