First off, you gotta remember Genshin Impact isn't directly available on the Steam store. But don't worry, getting it on your Steam Deck is still possible and pretty straightforward. You just need to enable Desktop Mode on your Steam Deck, then install the Windows version of Genshin Impact using a web browser. Basically, treat your Steam Deck like a regular PC and install the game from the Genshin Impact official website. After that, switch back to Gaming Mode, and you should be able to add Genshin Impact as a non-Steam game to your library. Voila!

Actually, just use the Discover Store app in Desktop Mode to install Wine, then you can run the Genshin Impact launcher like on any Linux desktop. Short and sweet.

Honestly, why bother? Just play it on your phone or PC. Genshin's not optimized for Steam Deck and it's a hassle. Save yourself the trouble.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
