Honestly, getting gold tools is more of a status symbol than anything. They do last longer but it's such a grind to get them. Focus on enjoying your island!

To snag yourself some shiny gold tools in Animal Crossing, you've gotta work for 'em! For the golden axe, you need to break 100 axes, the golden net comes from completing your bug collection, and the golden fishing rod? That's yours once you've caught every fish. Catch all the critters for the golden shovel, hit the bells with your shovel for that golden slingshot, and for the golden watering can, keep your town perfect for 15 days straight. It's a grind, but so worth it for that bling!

Gold tools, huh? Been there, done that. The satisfaction of finally getting the golden shovel after helping Gulliver 30 times was unmatched. It's all about patience and enjoying the little achievements in the game.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
