To get Minecraft Bedrock Edition on your Steam Deck, you’ll need to install Windows on it first. The Steam Deck runs on SteamOS, which doesn’t natively support Bedrock. Once Windows is installed, you can grab Minecraft Bedrock from the Microsoft Store!

Just install Windows on the Steam Deck, then you can get Minecraft Bedrock Edition from the Microsoft Store. SteamOS doesn't support it directly.

Why even bother? Just stick to Minecraft Java Edition. It's officially supported on SteamOS which the Steam Deck runs on. Plus, it's the OG version!

I installed Windows on my Steam Deck for this exact reason. Followed a guide online, downloaded Minecraft from the Microsoft Store, and now it runs perfectly!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
