Easy peasy! Just restart your PS4 and it should boot up normally. If that doesn’t work, try updating the system software via USB.

Hold the power button down until you hear the second beep, then release. This should restart your PS4 in normal mode.

Hot take: Safe Mode is the PS4’s way of asking for a break. Try a different outlet or even a different HDMI cable.

Had this issue before. I just reconnected all the cables and powered it up. Fixed it right away!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
