First, make sure your PS3 is connected to the internet. Then, start GTA 5 and navigate to the Online tab in the main menu. From there, select 'Play GTA Online' and follow the prompts to join a session!

You just need to go to the Online option in the GTA 5 main menu. Make sure your PS3 is connected to the internet first!

Just a heads up, the online experience on PS3 might not be as smooth since Rockstar Games focuses on newer consoles now.
