Here's how you can get your PS3 into recovery mode: First, turn off your PS3 completely. Then, press and hold the power button until you hear three beeps; the first two beeps will be closely spaced, and the third beep should come after a moment. Release the power button to turn it off again. Now, press and hold the power button again until you hear two short beeps, then release. You should see a menu with six options. Done!

You need to fully power off your PS3. Hold down the power button until it beeps twice, then release it. It'll boot into recovery mode.

Just restart your PS3 by holding the power button until you hear three beeps, then keep holding it until you hear two more beeps.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
