How to Get Rid of an Accent Wall in Animal Crossing
Simply walk up to the wall where you've applied the accent wall and press the A button. This will bring up your inventory of walls. Just select any other wall to replace it, and voila, your accent wall is gone. You can also go into your storage (if you're in your house) and select another wallpaper to replace it directly from there!

Go into decoration mode, target the accent wall, and replace it with any other wallpaper you have. Easy peasy.
Honestly, why would you want to remove an accent wall? They add so much character! But yeah, just change the wall to any other wallpaper, and it's back to basics.
You can't specifically 'remove' the accent wall without replacing it. Pick any wallpaper in your inventory and apply it to the wall; this effectively removes the accent wall feature.
