Honestly, just buy it from Nook's Cranny if chopping trees isn't your vibe. Saves time and effort, plus you keep your island green and lush!

Getting softwood in Animal Crossing is pretty straightforward! All you gotta do is whip out your trusty axe and start whacking at the trees in your village. Just make sure you're using a flimsy axe or a stone axe if you don't want to accidentally chop down your beloved trees. Each tree can give you different types of wood, including that elusive softwood you're after. Keep at it, and you'll have a pile of softwood in no time!

Pro tip: Don't overdo it with the axe on each tree; you don't wanna end up tree-less. Softwood ain't worth deforestation.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
