How to get the fishing rod in Animal Crossing
In Animal Crossing, getting your hands on a fishing rod is pretty simple! When you start your game, talk to Tom Nook. If you're playing New Horizons, he'll give you a DIY recipe for it. You just need to gather the required materials (5 tree branches) and craft it at a DIY workbench. If you're playing an earlier version of the game, you might be able to buy one from Nook's Cranny, or sometimes you'll get it from a resident.
