To get yellow wood, head to the Safari biome and navigate through the cave maze. Don't forget to bring some lights!
Yellow wood, or Gold wood, can be found in the Safari biome. First, you need to buy the Bridge from the Bridge Owner (costs around $100), which will lower a bridge to access the Safari. Once you're there, look for the large maze-like cave. Navigate through it, and you'll find those golden trees!
Just head over to the Safari and go through the cave. Happy chopping!
