Hiding achievements on Steam is pretty straightforward! Just go to your Steam profile, click 'Edit Profile' under your profile name, and then hit the 'Privacy Settings' tab. Scroll down until you see 'Game details' and set this to 'Private'. Voila, your achievements are now hidden from the public eye!

Actually, you can't specifically hide just achievements on Steam. Setting your game details to private hides everything, including your achievements. So, if you're cool with going incognito on your gaming activities, that's the way to do it.
