Turn on the 'Native Refresh Rate' setting in the game's Advanced Settings. Also, make sure other apps aren't hogging your resources by closing them out!
Just set your in-game settings to 'Native Refresh Rate.' Worked like a charm for me on a dodgy old phone!
You don't really need to mess with settings unless you're obsessed with buttery smooth gameplay. The default FPS works fine!
