First off, you wanna grab a good quality microSD card 'cause you'll need the extra space. Download the Batocera image specifically for the Steam Deck from their official website. Use a program like BalenaEtcher to flash the image onto your microSD card. Once that's done, just pop the microSD card into your Steam Deck, boot it up, and you should see the Batocera boot menu. From there, follow the on-screen instructions to finish setting it up. Super easy and it won't mess with your SteamOS, so you can switch between gaming worlds whenever you feel like it.

Honestly, why bother? Steam Deck's all about that Steam library. But hey, if you're set on it, the microSD route is pretty straightforward. Just make sure you're not overwriting your SteamOS.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
