How to Install Custom Themes on PS3
First, download the custom theme you want on a USB stick. Create a folder named 'PS3' on the USB stick, then inside it, create another folder named 'THEME'. Place the downloaded theme file in the 'THEME' folder. Insert the USB stick into your PS3, go to 'Settings', then 'Theme Settings', and finally 'Install'. Select the theme from the USB stick and you’re good to go!

Honestly, just stick to the default themes or official ones. Custom themes can sometimes cause issues.
