First, put the PKG file on a USB stick and then plug it into your PS3. Next, navigate to 'Game' > 'Install Package Files.' Select your file and let it install. Voilà!

Easy peasy! Just download your PKG file, transfer it to a USB drive, and then go to 'Install Package Files' in the Games section on your PS3. Done!

Why are you even messing with PKG files? Just stick to PlayStation Store downloads, much simpler!

You gotta make sure you’re on custom firmware (CFW) for some PKGs. Once you have your USB ready with the PKG file, go to 'Game' and select 'Install Package Files.'
