Unfortunately, you can't keep Pokemon GO running in the background. It's designed to require active engagement. Maybe it's Niantic's secret plot to keep us all fit!

Best tip: Invest in a Pokémon GO Plus or Poké Ball Plus. These devices allow you to catch Pokémon and spin PokéStops without having to keep the app open. Works like a charm!

Nope, you can't. This is a feature, not a bug. Keeps you active and prevents cheating.

I've tried every trick in the book, but Pokemon GO just refuses to stay active in the background. Keep that phone in hand!

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
