Getting rid of that pesky Assaultron really comes down to keeping your distance and pumping it full of bullets or energy blasts. Sneak attacks can give you an early advantage, doubling damage if you're lucky. Also, Pulse grenades are fantastic because they deal extra damage to robots. Just keep moving and shoot, shoot, shoot!

Killing an Assaultron in Fallout 76 is no walk in the park, but here's a pro tip: Aim for its legs to slow it down, making it easier to dodge its attacks. Then, when it's limping, go for headshots to finish it off. Energy weapons with high DPS (like the Gatling Laser) are your best friends here. And don't forget to use cover strategically to avoid its deadly laser beam!

Just run. Seriously, unless you're decked out in Power Armor and have a solid arsenal, just turn tail. There's no shame in living to fight another day.

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!
