Just buy a Nintendo eShop gift card and get the game to start cooking! You kinda just follow the game's flow, and it'll teach you all you need to know!

Cooking in Animal Crossing isn't like your traditional video game cooking! First up, you gotta get yourself the 'Turkey Day' update in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. On Turkey Day, you'll meet a chef named Franklin who'll introduce you to the wonderful world of cooking. Following this event, you'll unlock the ability to cook with a DIY Recipes+ upgrade. Snag that by trading Nook Miles at the Nook Stop terminal in Resident Services. Once you've got that, it's all about gathering ingredients from around your island or trading with neighbors to whip up some tasty dishes!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
