First, make sure to unplug your PS4 Slim. Then, remove the screws on the back with a T8/T9 Torx screwdriver. Carefully lift the case off, but beware of damaging any internal components!

Turn off and unplug your PS4 Slim, use a Torx T8 screwdriver to remove the screws at the back, then gently pry open the plastic cover.

I did this last weekend! You need a Torx T8 screwdriver. Unplug your PS4 Slim, remove the screws on the back, and lift the cover carefully. Easy peasy!
