Nope, PS3 controllers don't work with PS4. Save yourself the hassle and get a DualShock 4!

Unfortunately, you can't directly pair a PS3 controller to a PS4. PS4 doesn't natively support the older DualShock 3. You might need a third-party adapter like the Brook Super Converter.

Good luck with that, but you'd have better success teaching a cat to fetch!

I tried this myself once, and the PS4 just wouldn't recognize my PS3 controller. A USB adapter is your best bet if you're insistent!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
