How to pick a lock in Fallout 76
Lockpicking in Fallout 76 is pretty similar to how it works in the other Fallout games. First, you'll need to have some Bobby Pins in your inventory. Then, you approach the lock and enter the lockpicking screen. Rotate the Bobby Pin left or right using your controller or keyboard, and then turn the lock with another button. If your pin is in the right position, the lock will open. Start gently, because if you force it too much, your Bobby Pin might break! Also, remember, you need the Picklock perk card to pick locks - the higher the lock's level, the higher level your Picklock perk card must be.

Honestly, just wiggle that Bobby Pin around till something clicks. Worst case, you break a few but hey, it's all part of the experience. And keep an eye on those perk cards! Without them, you're not picking anything higher than a level 0 lock.
Lockpicking? Ain't nobody got time for that. Just blow the doors off. (Just kidding, don't actually do that. Lockpicking is a valuable skill in Fallout 76 for finding extra loot and secrets. Practice makes perfect!)
