You can't place a gym in Pokemon GO yourself. Pokemon gyms are predetermined and placed by Niantic based on real-world locations and landmarks.

You can鈥檛 just set up your own gym in Pokemon GO. Niantic decides the locations of gyms based on existing landmarks.

Honestly, you can't do it. Gyms are set by Niantic, usually at notable landmarks. But hey, you can take one over!

As someone who鈥檚 tried, it鈥檚 not possible! Gyms are strategically placed by Niantic based on real-world points of interest. Just find one nearby and dominate!

Niantic's in control of where gyms go. They use popular landmarks and points of interest.

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
