To play A Way Out with a friend on Steam, you only need one copy of the game! Here's the magic: buy the game, and your friend downloads the free 'Friend Pass' from Steam. Then, invite your buddy through the in-game menu. Voila, co-op prison break action awaits!

Actually, you don't both need the game. Only one person needs to own it. The other player downloads the 'Friend Pass' and joins in for free. Steam makes it super easy to team up and take on that epic escape.

Big fan of A Way Out here! Played it start to finish with my bestie. Remember, the game is co-op only, so you can't go it alone. The 'Friend Pass' thing is awesome – basically, buy one, get one in terms of gameplay with your friend. Make sure your internet connection is solid, though. Nothing worse than lag when you're trying to sneak past guards.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
