Sorry to break it to you, but native landscape mode isn't officially supported by the game itself. Stick to portrait mode for the best experience!

Tried on my tablet with developer options. Enabled 'force activities to be resizable' and then used split-screen mode. Worked like a charm!

If you're using an emulator on PC, you can easily switch to landscape mode in the emulator settings. Bluestacks, for example, has an option for it.
