Not a fan, but if you must, just ensure it's in your Steam library. Steam Deck does the rest.

Honestly, just plug in a controller. The Steam Deck's controls are fine for lots of games, but FIFA 22? Trust me, a controller makes a world of difference. Plug it in, start the game through Steam, and enjoy the smooth gameplay.
