Honestly, just stick with Minecraft Java Edition on Steam Deck. It's optimized for Linux and runs like a dream with Proton. Why go through the hassle with Bedrock?

Had the same question a month back! Installed Windows on my Steam Deck, then downloaded Minecraft Bedrock from the Microsoft Store, and it worked perfectly. The process was a tad tedious but totally worth it for that smooth Bedrock gameplay.

First off, you'll need to install Windows on your Steam Deck because Minecraft Bedrock Edition requires it for play. Once you've got Windows up and running, just head over to the Microsoft Store, grab Minecraft, and you're golden! Enjoy building your blocky empire right from your Steam Deck.

You can indeed run Minecraft Bedrock on Steam Deck, but it's a bit of a roundabout way. Install Windows, then snag it from the Microsoft Store. Sure, it's a few extra steps, but playing your fav game on the go? Priceless.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
