Sorry to burst the bubble, but playing preloaded games early on Steam isn't officially supported. Steam locks games until their official release date to ensure fairness. Some people try changing their VPN to a region where the game is released earlier, but I don't recommend it because it's against Steam's terms of service and could get you in trouble.

Nah, you can't. Steam's pretty strict about release times. Just wait it out like the rest of us.

I once tried the VPN trick to play a game early that was available in New Zealand first. Worked like a charm, but it felt like walking a tightrope with Steam's rules. Would not advise unless you're okay with the risk of getting your account penalized!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
