Honestly, only certain PS3 models support PS2 backward compatibility natively. Check if your model does before trying anything.

Alright, first make sure your PS3 is backward compatible with PS2 games. If it is, you can use a USB storage device to transfer PS2 ISOs. Format your USB to FAT32, create a folder named 'PS2ISO', and place your game files there. Insert the USB into the PS3, then use a program like Multiman to load and play the games.

I managed to get my PS2 games running on my PS3! I used a USB stick formatted to FAT32. Make sure to name the folder 'PS2ISO' and pop your game files in there. Using a program like Multiman really helps to load and play those games!

Short answer: it鈥檚 a bit tricky without a backward-compatible PS3. You might need some software mods to make it work.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
