Honestly, while you can get Star Citizen to run on a Steam Deck, it's not the best experience. The game is super demanding, and the Steam Deck might struggle with it. Just something to keep in mind.

Playing Star Citizen on your Steam Deck is totally doable, but it requires a bit of setup since it's not directly available on Steam. First, you'll need to install Windows on your Steam Deck because Star Citizen needs it to run. Once you've got Windows going, download the Star Citizen launcher from the official site and install it. After that, you're good to launch Star Citizen and get playing!

Actually, you don't need to make it so complicated. Just use the desktop mode on your Steam Deck, go to the Star Citizen website, download the game, and run it. No need to install Windows.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
