You can prevent Dark Events by completing Guerrilla Ops missions. Just pick the one with the nastiest Dark Event and take it out!

I usually build Resistance Comms early and keep scanning for Intel. That way, I always know about upcoming Dark Events and can counter them effectively.

Stop Dark Events by prioritizing missions that counter them. Keep a sharp eye on the Avatar project progress, too!

Honestly? You can't prevent all Dark Events. Focus on the worst ones, mitigate the rest, and stay flexible with your strategy.
