Pro tip: If you're talking about using old PS1 or PS2 memory cards, you'll need an official Memory Card Adapter to transfer data. But for PS3 games鈥攊t's all on the hard drive!
Just plug in a USB drive to one of the USB ports on the front of the PS3. Go to Settings, then System Settings, and select Backup Utility to save or transfer game data.
The PS3 doesn't use memory cards like older PlayStation consoles. You save your game data directly on the hard drive or an external USB storage device.
