You'll need an HDMI to AV converter since the PS3 uses HDCP on its HDMI output. Hook up the AV cables to the converter, then connect it to the Elgato HD60 and your TV. Simple as that!

Don't forget you might need an extra HDMI cable or two. Having those on hand can smoothly get your recording set up!

To record your PS3 with the Elgato HD60, you need an HDMI splitter to bypass HDCP (high-bandwidth digital content protection). Connect the PS3 to the splitter, the splitter to the Elgato HD60, and the Elgato to your TV and PC. Easy peasy!

Just use the AV cables that come with the PS3. They work perfectly with the Elgato HD60 without HDCP issues.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
