So you wanna be the next big thing in gaming streams with your Steam Deck, huh? Easy peasy! The Steam Deck itself doesn't come with built-in recording or streaming capabilities, but fear not, tech warrior! You can use a capture card to record your gameplay. Just connect the Steam Deck to a capture card, and then to your PC. Software like OBS Studio will let you capture all the action live or save it for an epic montage later.

Actually, there's another way that doesn't need extra gear. You can use the Steam Deck's Desktop Mode to install and run any compatible software directly, including screen recording apps. This way, you can record without needing a PC or a capture card. Just be mindful of the performance impact on your game.

Just hit the record button on a capture card. It's the simplest solution.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
