I don't get the fuss, just use the code on the Steam desktop client. Why complicate things with the Deck?

Guys, redeeming on the Steam Deck is super easy and convenient. Did it last week for a birthday gift I got. Literally took seconds and I was browsing new games to grab. Don鈥檛 be intimidated by new tech, it鈥檚 a breeze!

To redeem a Steam gift card on your Steam Deck, just navigate to the Steam Store from your Deck, scroll down to the bottom of the store page, and click on 'Add Funds to Your Steam Wallet'. Then, simply enter the code from your gift card, and voila, you're all set with more funds to snag some games!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
