Steam Deck makes it easy. I just went to Steam, then 'Activate a Product on Steam' under 'Games.' Plug in the key and enjoy!
Really simple. Just launch Steam, go to 'Games' in the main menu, and click 'Activate a Product on Steam.' Add your key and it's good to go!
On your Steam Deck: open Steam, hit the Steam button → Library → Add a Game. Then pick 'Activate a Product on Steam' and boom, enter your key.
Steam button > Library > Add a Game > Activate a Product. Done and done.
