Just slide the plates off! Start by placing your PS5 on a soft surface, remove the base, then slide the plates towards the bottom and they’ll pop right off.

Honestly, don't even bother. Just buy new ones and stick 'em on over the old ones.

I did this last week. Turn off and unplug your PS5, remove the base, then pull slightly and slide the top plate towards the bottom. Easy peasy!

Unscrew and slide. First, unscrew the small nub on the bottom with a flathead screwdriver, then proceed to slide the plates off carefully.

Tilt and slide! Hold the corner near the PS logo, lift it slightly, and slide the plate downwards. Voilà, you've got it off.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
