To remove a profile on a PS3, go to 'Users' on the XMB, select the profile you want to delete, press triangle, and choose 'Delete.' Easy peasy!

All you gotta do is hit 'Users' from the main menu, select the profile, press the triangle button, and choose 'Delete.' Good to go!
