I had a similar problem with my PS3. First, I disconnected the power, then carefully opened the console. After that, I used a magnifying glass to check the HDMI port. Turned out a pin was bent. I carefully straightened it with a tiny flathead screwdriver, and it worked again. Be super careful if you plan to try this yourself!

First, check if the cable is at fault by trying a different HDMI cable or testing the current one on another device. If the cable isn't the issue, you might need to open up your PS3 and inspect the HDMI port for any visible damage. If you see any bent pins, gently straighten them with a small tool. If the port is physically damaged, consider taking it to a professional for repair or replacement.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
