Replacing the PS3 CMOS battery is pretty straightforward. First, unplug your PS3 and ensure it's completely powered down. Then, open the console's cover to access the motherboard. You'll see a small, coin-shaped battery—gently pop it out and replace it with a new one of the same type (CR2032). Close everything up, and you're all set!

Easy-peasy! Just unplug your PS3, open up the cover, find the coin battery on the motherboard, and swap it with a CR2032. Done!

Been there, done that! Just remember the battery type is CR2032. Follow the steps carefully, and your PS3 should be back in action in no time.

Honestly, if you're not comfortable opening up electronics, you might want to ask a tech-savvy friend or take it to a professional. Sometimes it's better safe than sorry!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
