Replaced mine last week! It's doable but take your time and maybe watch a tutorial on YouTube. There are some great step-by-step guides that make it a lot easier. It's satisfying to do it yourself!

Replacing the Steam Deck screen isn't for the faint of heart, but if you're feeling brave, here's a quick rundown: First, make sure you've got the right replacement screen ready. You'll need a set of precision screwdrivers, a spudger to gently pry open the case, and a steady hand. Open up the case by removing the screws from the back, carefully disconnect the old screen, and then connect the new one. Don't forget to reassemble everything back in reverse order. And remember, if you're not confident, it's always safer to seek professional help or reach out to Steam's support.

Just buy a new one, dude. Screens are delicate, and if you mess up, you'll wish you'd spent that screen replacement money on a brand new Steam Deck instead.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
