You gotta take apart your PS3, clean off the old gunk with some isopropyl alcohol, then apply a small pea-sized amount of new thermal paste to the chip surfaces. Reassemble and you're good to go!

First, you'll need to disassemble your PS3, including removing the hard drive, covers, and heatsinks. Clean off the old thermal paste with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth, then apply a small amount of new thermal paste to the CPU and GPU before reassembling.

Make sure your console is unplugged! Disassemble the PS3, clean off old paste with rubbing alcohol, and apply new paste to the CPU and GPU before putting it all back together. Be careful not to use too much paste!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
