Just screenshot the story and upload it to yours. Might be low-tech, but it works every time!
Easiest way: If you're tagged in the story, tap the notification in your direct messages and you'll see an option to add it to your story. Boom. Done.
You can't repost Instagram Stories unless you're tagged. It's kind of a bummer, but that's the policy.
