Just delete the save data from your Switch settings. It's that simple. But beware, everything goes *poof*.

Resetting your game in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is pretty straightforward but a bit heart-wrenching if you've invested a lot of time! First, from the Nintendo Switch Home Menu, go to System Settings, scroll down to Data Management, and select Delete Save Data. Then, find Animal Crossing: New Horizons in the list and confirm you want to delete its save data. Voila, you've reset your island and can start afresh. Just remember, this wipes everything, so be sure you really want a clean slate!

Honestly, why would you reset? The charm of Animal Crossing is building over time! But if you must, system settings > data management is your friend. Just be prepared to say goodbye to your island pals.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
