Resetting in Animal Crossing: New Leaf isn't as straightforward as hitting a 'reset' button, but it's still simple. Start the game and press and hold the 'A,' 'B,' 'X,' and 'Y' buttons as it's loading to bring up the reset option. Isabelle will pop up and ask if you're sure you want to reset your town. Just a heads up, doing this erases all your progress, so make sure you're ready for a fresh start!

I had to reset once because I totally messed up my village layout. Can confirm, pressing A, B, X, and Y as the game loads is the way to go. It's like getting a brand new game without buying it again. Just be ready to say goodbye to all your hard work.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
