Hold the power button on the PS3 Fat until you hear three beeps, then release. This should reset your console to factory settings.

Unplug the power cord, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on. Quick and simple!

Go to Settings > System Settings > Restore PS3 System. Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your PS3 Fat. Remember to back up your data!
