Easy peasy! Just turn off your PS3, then hold down the power button for about 5 seconds until you hear a second beep. That should reset the HDMI settings and detect your TV again.

Had the same issue! Turn off PS3 completely, hold down the power button for 5-10 seconds, listen for the double beep, and done. HDMI reset!

Unplug the HDMI, power the PS3 down, and hold the power button until you hear a second beep. Works every time.
