Restarting your game in Animal Crossing on Switch Lite is pretty simple! First, from the Switch's Home screen, you close the game if it's running. Then, you go to System Settings -> Data Management -> Delete Save Data. Find Animal Crossing: New Horizons in the list, select it, and confirm you wanna delete your save data. After that, next time you boot up Animal Crossing, it'll be like starting a brand new adventure on your deserted island!

Honestly, think twice before doing it. Restarting means saying goodbye to all your progress, villagers, and collected items. But if you're set on a fresh start, just delete the Save Data in the system settings. Then, it's like the first time you arrived on your island, all over again.

Just delete the save data from the Switch's settings menu. Boom, you'll start fresh!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
