Starting fresh on Animal Crossing? No prob! To restart your island, simply launch the game, press the '-' button on the Switch during the title screen to access the settings, and have a chat with Tom Nook. He's the go-to raccoon for all things island-reset. Just follow his prompts, and you'll be ready to sculpt your new paradise in no time!

Hot take: Why restart? Part of the charm is rolling with the punches and making your island a reflection of your journey. Embrace the chaos!

I restarted my island because I totally botched my layout at the start. It's easy. On the title screen, just press the '-' button, talk to Tom Nook, and boom, you'll get the option to wipe the slate clean. It's like getting a second chance to make your island truly yours.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
