Restarting Steam is super easy, just follow these steps: Close Steam completely by right-clicking the Steam icon in your system tray and selecting 'Exit'. Then, just open Steam again through your Start menu, desktop shortcut, or wherever you usually launch it from. Steam will restart fresh!

Just hit 'Ctrl+Shift+Esc' to open Task Manager, find Steam under the 'Processes' tab, select it, and hit 'End Task'. Then relaunch Steam. Bam, restarted!
